Brookings City Council approved a construction contract for the Main Fire Station on July 14. The council also approved zoning changes for Block 2 of Northern Plains Addition, converting the area from a Business Office District to a Planned Development District, and adopted amendments to the city's subdivision regulations. Additionally, the council authorized the purchase of real property and approved operating agreements for Mamacitas LLC restaurant and renewals for wine service at the Dacotah Bank Center and Mosaic Wine Bar.
