Severe Thunderstorm Warning

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for parts of Brookings, Kingsbury, Lake, and Moody counties until 4:15 AM on August 25. The National Weather Service reports storms moving southeast at 40 mph with 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail expected. Hail damage to vehicles and wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees are possible. Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building for protection.
