Brookings County holds two budget hearings this week as it prepares its 2027 spending plan. The County Commission meets Tuesday, September 1 at 8:30 AM to consider the provisional 2027 budget and a supplemental budget resolution for the current year. Both will open for public comment. The same meeting will also address updates to the county pay plan for 2026 and approve annexation by the City of Volga. Read the full week in review →
