This week in Brookings
August 10–16, 2026
The City Council meets Tuesday at 6 p.m. to consider two 10-year on-sale liquor operating agreements: one for Buffalo Wild Wings and one for the 9 Bar Nightclub. Both decisions will be on the consent agenda, meaning they are expected to pass without discussion unless a council member requests further debate. The council will also handle routine approvals and accept public comment during an open forum period at the start of the meeting. Read the full week in review →
