Human Rights Commission — Tue, Oct 20, 2026

The Human Rights Commission will address membership and budget matters, consider an ordinance, and discuss open meeting laws and a Brookings Multicultural Center New Year's Eve Party event. The commission will also hear updates from liaisons at the Brookings Police Department, Brookings School District, and South Dakota State University, as well as reports from task forces and work groups focused on diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, advocacy, education, outreach, and communications.
