The Sustainability Council will meet to discuss Mayor's Awards for compost and e-waste programs, review a Make America Beautiful affiliate application, and receive updates from subcommittees on education, climate and biodiversity, waste, energy, and local foods. The council will also hear reports from liaisons to the Parks and Recreation Board, Planning Commission, and Local Emergency Planning Committee, and review the budget. Members with expiring terms will be nominated in November for a December vote. Public comment is available during open forum.
