The City Council approved the Brookings Area Transportation Plan on June 23, adopting a roadmap for the area's future traffic and transit needs. The council also adopted the Brookings Area Safety Plan and committed to the 2050 Vision Zero Safety Goal, a framework aimed at preventing traffic fatalities and serious injuries.
