Silent Film with Pipe Organ: Buster Keaton’s “The General”
Fri, October 16 at 7:30 PM
Buster Keaton's 1926 film "The General" screens with live pipe organ accompaniment by Ben Model, an acclaimed silent-film historian who has spent more than four decades performing original scores for silent films. The film, set during the Civil War and inspired by real events, combines Keaton's comedy with themes of perseverance and national identity. This is the sixth appearance of the annual Silent Film with Pipe Organ tradition at SDSU.
