The SDSU Alumni & Foundation hosts the 10th annual One Day for STATE, a 24-hour giving campaign running September 10 at 7:00 PM through September 11 at 7:00 PM. Donors of all sizes are invited to contribute; last year brought in $3.2 million from thousands of supporters worldwide, and this year aims for 5,000 donors in 24 hours. The Yellow and Blue Block Party, a free community celebration, runs from 5–8 p.m. on September 10 at Alumni Green and features food trucks, a Pride of the Dakotas performance, free ice cream, the Bummobile, and activities for children.
