The 2nd Annual University & Central Historic Neighborhoods Block Party takes place Friday, August 28, from 5–8 p.m. at the corner of 7th Street and 8th Avenue. Live music by The Hometown Honeys, neighborhood games, hot dogs, chips, lemonade, and iced tea will be on hand. Neighbors can bring a dessert and recipe to enter the Best Dessert in the Neighborhood Contest. Bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket.
