The Brookings County Commission's July 7 agenda includes several road and infrastructure items affecting residents. Commissioners will consider bids from Holloway Bridge and Culvert for two bridge structures — $453,937.43 for structure #06-240-123 and $1,708,552.50 for structure #06-240-141. Also on the agenda: closing 476th Avenue (County Road 23) in Aurora, from Front Street North to Pine Street, from 5 a.m. Saturday, August 1 to 1 a.m. Sunday, August 2, for Aurora Gala Days. The commission will also hold a first reading of Ordinance #26-04, which would set requirements, fees, and regulations for alcoholic beverage licenses in Brookings County; a second reading is set for July 21.
