The Brookings Radio 42nd Annual 4th of July Parade steps off Saturday, July 4 at 11:00 a.m., with lineup starting at 9:30 a.m. in front of the Brookings Police Department. The route runs east on 3rd Street to Medary Avenue, north on Medary to 6th Street, west on 6th Street to Main Avenue, then south on Main back to 3rd Street. At least four City Council members may be on hand for the parade, though no official city business will be conducted.
